New CD - Johan´s Boat
Ranging from 80’s synth pop (Ode To Gardener and Air) to haunting piano ballads (Skin As A Child), singer etgilles' emotive vocals are poise against the backdrop of Johan Olofsson’s beautifully arranged and produced orchestrations.
 The direct and emotional lyrical content, let alone the haunting melodies that accompany them, exemplify the duo's penchant for the kind of languid energy that finds itself in all corners of Johan's Boat. Simply put, the songs making up etgilles’ debut CD speak directly to the human condition. Themes dealing with love, hope and despair weave their way through a range of cinematic soundscapes.
While obvious musical influences hover around Johan's Boat, the duo's originality in etgilles' soulful vocal delivery and in Olofsson's romantically dark synth melancholy create new pop gems that are uniquely their own.
The duo were formed in September 2005 and consist of Johan Olofsson (production and lyric) and J Fields (vox and lyric). What makes the duo unique (besides their music) is that they´ve never physically met. They connected through the Internet and are working together via e-mail and chat sessions.

If you miss the glory days of Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Erasure, etc. this CD is for you! Johan's boat is a trip across dark, mysterious and beautiful waters! There is more feeling in this CD than on all of the top 40 radio play songs combined! Buy this one today!
